Outstanding Special Issue Award

The International Journal of Environmental Research and Public Health (IJERPH) Outstanding Special Issue Award is established to recognize the outstanding contributions of Guest Editors to the development of Special Issues in IJERPH. Four Special Issues that closed between 1 January 2025 and 31 December 2025 will be selected through a thorough evaluation conducted by the journal’s Award Committee, led by the Editor-in-Chief. The winners will be announced on the journal’s website at the end of April of the following year.

The Prize:
– CHF 500;
– A certificate;
– A voucher to waive the Article Processing Charges (APCs) for one submission in the journal (subject to peer review)—valid for one year.

– Special Issues closed in 2025;
– Special Issues with 8 or more published papers.

Selection Criteria

– Attractive Topics: Special Issues addressing compelling and innovative topics.
– High Quality of Special Issue Papers: Rigorous peer-reviewed papers that contribute significantly to the field.
– High Impact: Special Issues that have made a notable impact within the academic community.
