Special Issue Information
Dear Colleagues,
We are pleased to invite you to contribute to the Special Issue entitled “Otorhinolaryngology in Modern Healthcare: Advances, Challenges, and Perspectives” in the journal Healthcare. Otorhinolaryngology plays a central role in modern healthcare, addressing disorders that profoundly influence communication, balance, breathing, swallowing, and sensory integration, thereby shaping overall quality of life across all age groups. Rapid technological progress, evolving diagnostic strategies, and changing healthcare delivery models have reshaped clinical practice and research priorities within the field.
This Special Issue aims to provide an integrative overview of contemporary otorhinolaryngology, highlighting both recent advances and current challenges within the broader context of healthcare systems. The topic aligns closely with the scope of Healthcare by emphasizing clinically relevant, translational, and patient-centered perspectives that support evidence-based practice and interdisciplinary collaboration. In this Special Issue, original research articles and review papers are welcome, with particular encouragement for high-quality narrative reviews that synthesize current evidence, clinical experience, and emerging concepts. Suggested themes include, but are not limited to, otology and neurotology, rhinology, pediatric otorhinolaryngology, head and neck disorders, hearing and balance rehabilitation, diagnostic innovations, and future perspectives in ENT healthcare.
We look forward to receiving your contributions.
