Special Issue Information
Dear Colleagues,
We are pleased to invite you to contribute to the Special Issue of Healthcare entitled “Health and Well-Being of Workers with Disabilities and/or Chronic Conditions”.
The growing integration of individuals with disabilities or chronic health issues into the labour market presents critical challenges for health systems, employers, and public policy. Scientific advances now allow us to assess both the risk and protective factors influencing the quality of life, employability, and productivity of these groups.
This Special Issue aims to explore health-related outcomes, workplace interventions, and systemic supports relevant to workers with physical, cognitive, sensory, or psychosocial limitations. Its topics may include, but are not limited to, occupational health services, psychosocial risk assessments, accommodations, stigma, work-related stress, return-to-work programs, and policy evaluations.
We welcome original research articles and reviews to this Special Issue. We look forward to receiving your contributions.
