Special Issue Information
Dear Colleagues,
In recent years, alternative forms of nicotine delivery, such as electronic cigarettes (e-cigarettes) and heated tobacco, have gained popularity, especially among young adults. Due to the aggressive marketing activities of the tobacco industry, the number of people, particularly young people (18–30 years old), using different nicotine products has rapidly grown. However, studies assessing the use of nicotine products and potential health effects are rare.
For this Special Issue, we welcome the submission of papers focused on the health effects of exposure to novel tobacco products, product use, changes over time, the characteristics associated with tobacco product use, and particularly use among specific populations.
This Special Issue aims to present the impact of interventions and policies on the use of tobacco and novel tobacco products, in addition to their health/clinical implications or health risks, particularly focusing on the progress made with regards to research in these fields.
In this Special Issue, original research articles and review articles are welcome.
