The following is a short Q&A with Dr. Le Zhang, who shared his current research focus and his views on the journal Fermentation:
My current research interests include microbial fermentation of organic wastes (e.g., food waste and lignocellulosic biomass, etc.) for the production of biofuels and green chemicals, as well as bioinformatic analysis of microbial community structure in the bioreactors.
Well, firstly, my above-mentioned research focus has a close relationship with fermentation, so my research interests can match with Fermentation very well. Moreover, the Fermentation journal is a professional one for publishing papers about fermentation studies. Therefore, I believe Fermentation can be a very good platform for me to contribute to the related academic field.
