Environments Receives Its First Impact Factor of 3.7 and Updated CiteScore of 5.9


We are pleased to share that Environments (ISSN: 2076-3298) has received its first Impact Factor of 3.7 in the Journal Citation Reports™ (Clarivate) in June 2023.

Environments continues to be indexed in the Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI) within the Web of Science Core Collection. This is the first time that Clarivate has awarded Impact Factors to journals outside of the core flagship indices, SCIE and SSCI, creating greater transparency around the citedness of ESCI-indexed journals.

Meanwhile, according to the 2022 CiteScores™ (Elsevier) released in June 2023, Environments received an updated CiteScore of 5.9, an increase of 14% compared with the 2021 metric. The CiteScore ranks 104 among 687 titles (Q1) in the Ecology, Evolution, Behavior and Systematics category.
