Dear Colleagues,
The organic Rankine cycle has been attracting significant scientific focus in recent decades. Due to flexibility in system design and the variety of working fluids available, ORCs can be successfully paired with a range of heat sources (WHR, geothermal, biomass, solar) and successfully employed in a number of industries and applications. ORC system analysis and optimisation, as well as the design and sizing of cycle components, remain areas of interest.
In this Special Issue, we welcome papers presenting mathematical and numerical modelling approaches and diverse applications of ORC systems. Experimental studies are welcome, as are energy, exergy, environmental and economic analysis reports.

Submitted manuscripts should not have been published previously, nor be under consideration for publication elsewhere (except conference proceedings papers). All manuscripts are thoroughly refereed through a single-blind peer-review process. Energies is an international peer-reviewed open access semimonthly journal published by MDPI.
