Recruiting Editorial Board Members for Drones


We are currently recruiting Editorial Board Members for Drones (ISSN: 2504-446X). You can find out more about the existing Editorial Board Members by visiting the following link: https://www.mdpi.com/journal/drones/editors.

Drones is an international, peer-reviewed, open access journal published online monthly by MDPI. The journal focuses on the design and applications of drones, including unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), unmanned aircraft systems (UASs), and remotely piloted aircraft systems (RPASs), etc. Likewise, contributions based on unmanned water/underwater drones and unmanned ground vehicles are also welcomed. The main responsibilities of Editorial Board Members are as follows:

  • Prescreening and making decisions on new submissions related to their research interests;
  • Setting up at least one Special Issue during their term on a topic related to their research interests (or supervising Special Issues related to their research field);
  • Helping to attract suitable expert authors and invite young scholars to join the Topical Advisory Panel;
  • Providing input or feedback regarding journal policies;
  • Helping to promote the journal among their peers or at conferences;
  • Attending Board meetings to suggest journal development strategies;
  • Reviewing manuscripts.
