Meet Us at the 28th EVER Congress (EVER 2025), 9–11 October 2025, Florence, Italy

Feature papers represent the most advanced research with significant potential for high impact in the field. A Feature Paper should be a substantial original Article that involves several techniques or approaches, provides an outlook for future research directions and describes possible research applications.
Feature papers are submitted upon individual invitation or recommendation by the scientific editors and must receive positive feedback from the reviewers.
Editor’s Choice articles are based on recommendations by the scientific editors of MDPI journals from around the world. Editors select a small number of articles recently published in the journal that they believe will be particularly interesting to readers, or important in the respective research area. The aim is to provide a snapshot of some of the most exciting work published in the various research areas of the journal.

MDPI will be attending the 28th EVER Congress (EVER 2025) as an exhibitor, welcoming researchers from diverse backgrounds to visit and share their latest ideas.
EVER is the leading ophthalmological research association in Europe, which covers all areas of ophthalmology and the visual sciences. It can be considered as a bridge between basic scientists and clinical eye research of ophthalmology (including retina, glaucoma, cornea and ocular surface, oncology, pediatric ophthalmology, strabismus, neuro-ophthalmology, and lens disorders). It is mostly interested in translational research within all areas of ophthalmology and the visual sciences. This is being introduced during the congress annual meetings, where the best researchers and ophthalmology clinicians are present. It is essential for EVER that these congress meetings are attended by delegates from all over the world.
