Prof. Dr. Ramon G. Rubio Appointed Associate Editor of Colloids and Interfaces

We are pleased to announce that Prof. Dr. Ramon G. Rubio has been appointed Associate Editor of Colloids and Interfaces (ISSN: 2504-5377). With an extensive background in scientific research, he will bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to this prestigious role.

Colloids and Interfaces is an international, peer-reviewed, open access journal on colloid and interface chemistry published bimonthly online by MDPI.

Prof. Dr. Ramon G. Rubio has been a professor of Physical Chemistry since 1995 and the director of the Physical Chemistry Department of Complutense University of Madrid, Spain since 2010. He has also served as the manager of the National Program of Chemistry (2009–2012) and the director of the Spectroscopy Facility of Complutense University (2015–2018). His current research interests are understanding interfacial rheology, including particle-laden ones, in connection with the stability of emulsions and foams; understanding the dynamics of particles in bulk and confined and crowded systems; developing colloidal systems for delivering insecticides; and studying polymer+surfactant systems for cosmetic applications. He is the author of 261 papers and 26 book chapters and the editor of one book and two Special Issues of Advances in Colloid and Interface Science. He is a member of the advisory board of three journals and the Associate Editor of two journals.
