Dear Colleagues,

It is our pleasure to invite you to The 1st Wuhan International Summit on Engineered Regeneration (WISER2021).

The 1st Wuhan International Summit on Engineered Regeneration (WISER2021) will be held on 27–28 November 2021, in Renmin Hospital of Wuhan University, Wuhan, China. The theme of the 1st WISER conference is Dental-derived Stem Cells and Regenerative Medicine. This conference has attracted interest as a globally significant open forum for scientists and doctors focused on stem cells, engineered regeneration, and related aspects in Asia and other regions.

WISER2021 is hosted by Wuhan University and China Anti-aging Promoting Association (CAPA), jointly organized by the Stomatology Center and Regenerative Medicine Center of Renmin Hospital of Wuhan University in collaboration with the Innovation and Application Branch of CAPA and Utooth Biological Technology Co., Ltd.

With increasing emphasis on scientific and technological innovation worldwide, the health industry is facing unprecedented opportunities and challenges. As a forum established on new topics, including stem cell application, material application, tissue regeneration, and tissue engineering, etc., WISER aims to cultivate professional talents, exchange industry pain points, and explore study directions for the development of engineered regeneration as well as fundamental to advanced clinical application of stem cells.

Manuscripts can be submitted until the deadline. All submissions that pass pre-check are peer-reviewed. Accepted papers will be published continuously in the journal (as soon as accepted) and will be listed together on the special issue website. Research articles, review articles as well as short communications are invited. For planned papers, a title and short abstract (about 100 words) can be sent to the Editorial Office for announcement on this website.

Submitted manuscripts should not have been published previously, nor be under consideration for publication elsewhere (except conference proceedings papers). All manuscripts are thoroughly refereed through a single-blind peer-review process. Coatings is an international peer-reviewed open access monthly journal published by MDPI.
