(Bio)chemical Sensing
A section of Chemosensors (ISSN 2227-9040).
Section Information
The “(Bio)chemical Sensing’’ Section publishes original peer-reviewed papers (article and review) that cover interdisciplinary research, design and application of biosensors, addressing current emerging problems of health care, food, the defense sector and environmental importance.
This Section focuses on investigations of basic biochemical mechanisms at bio-interfaces of biosensors, as well as their application in complex matrix. New principles, designs and (bio)materials, proof-of-concept and biosensors’ commercialization are the main interest for this Section. New high-throughput biosensor devices to better tackle the climate change and its health impacts are also welcome. In addition, large-cohort validation studies on non-invasive biosensor performance in clinical laboratory are of large interest.
The topics including but not limited to the following fields:
- Biosensing
- Biological sensors
- Biochemical sensors
- Bio assays
- BioMEMS
- Affinity sensing
- Enzymatic sensing
