The year 2023 marks the 10th anniversary of Biomedicines (ISSN: 2227-9059, IF: 6.081), a peer-reviewed, open access journal based on research in the field of biomedicine. Thus far, more than 3400 papers from more than 21,000 authors have been published in Biomedicines. As well as this, more than 6700 reviewers have submitted at least one review report to this journal. We value the contributions made by authors and reviewers. To celebrate the 10th anniversary of Biomedicines, we are arranging events and the release of special content. We hope that you will be able to join us to celebrate this milestone of our journal.

We are pleased to announce that Biomedicines is now inviting nominations for the 2022 Young Investigator Awards. This prize will be given to two young investigators in recognition of her/his excellence in the field of biomedicine. We are pleased to announce that Biomedicines is now welcoming nominations for the Biomedicines 2022 Early-Career Women Award. This prize will be awarded to one female investigator in recognition of her excellence in the field of biomedicines. All nominations will be assessed by the Journal Award Committee, which will be led by the Section Editor-in-Chief, Dr. Veronique Baud. The winner will be announced on 31 January 2023.
