The Biomedical Engineering Society is pleased to host BMES 2024 (Biomedical Engineering Society,https://www.bmes.org/bmes2024), a place where innovators, researchers, and experts from around the world can come together for a groundbreaking exploration of the rapidly evolving field of additive biomedical engineering. BMES 2024 will take place from October 23rd to 26th in Baltimore. The aims and scope of BMES 2024 encompass a broad range of objectives and areas of interest within the field of additive biomedical engineering. The workshop's key aims and scope are: (i) To provide a platform for networking, collaboration, and interdisciplinary discussions. (ii) The scope includes biomedical engineering, biomaterials, tissue engineering, medical and industrial applications, challenges, ethics, future directions, sustainability, and education. (iii) BMES 2024 seeks to drive progress in biomedical engineering, fostering responsible and sustainable development in various fields while promoting ethical and regulatory awareness. (iv) The overarching goal of BMES 2024 is to create a dynamic and inclusive platform where participants can engage in meaningful discussions, share their expertise, and contribute to advancing additive biomedical engineering, ultimately driving its real-world applications and impact.
