Special Issue Information
Dear Colleagues,
Digital interventions are transforming the way mental health support is delivered, offering scalable, accessible, and innovative approaches across clinical, community, and preventive settings. Internet-based programs, mobile applications, blended care models, ecological momentary interventions, and other technology-supported psychological tools have expanded rapidly, creating new opportunities as well as new challenges for researchers and practitioners.
This Special Issue aims to gather original contributions that address digital interventions for mental health from diverse methodological and theoretical perspectives. We welcome studies that explore the design, development, evaluation, and application of these approaches, as well as research examining user experience, engagement processes, and the integration of digital tools into practice. Contributions may include quantitative empirical studies, qualitative research, mixed-methods designs, clinical trials, systematic reviews, and meta-analyses.
By bringing together interdisciplinary research, this Special Issue seeks to advance understanding of how digital technologies can support mental health care and psychological well-being while promoting innovation, accessibility, and sustainable practices. We invite researchers and professionals from psychology, health sciences, behavioral science, and related fields to contribute to this evolving area of research.
