Special Issue Information
Dear Colleagues,
Digital transformation revolutionizes information systems, driving innovation, efficiency, and new business models across industries. This Special Issue seeks to advance the understanding of digitalization's technologies, strategies, and impacts, featuring original research, case studies, and conceptual frameworks that explore digital transformation's opportunities and challenges. Contributions addressing AI, cloud computing, blockchain, digital strategy, and ethical considerations are highly encouraged.
Digital transformation in information systems (IS) continuously evolves, driven by technological advancements, strategic implementations, and societal impacts. This Special Issue highlights how digitalization reshapes organizations, industries, and public institutions, fostering new value-creation models, enhancing decision-making, and improving operational efficiency.
This Special Issue welcomes research contributions that analyze, design, implement, and evaluate digital transformation initiatives in various sectors, including business, government, healthcare, education, and tourism. We invite theoretical, empirical, and case-study-based submissions covering emerging technologies, frameworks, methodologies, and best practices in IS.
