Special Issue Information
Dear Colleagues,
Orthodontics is undergoing a transformative period, driven by advances in research and technological innovation. Translational research represents a critical paradigm shift, bridging the gap between scientific discoveries and clinical orthodontic practice. By integrating developments in imaging technologies, digital workflows, artificial intelligence, biomechanics, and biologically informed therapies, translational research fosters the rapid application of innovative concepts in patient-centered orthodontic care.
This Special Issue will highlight the most recent advances in translational orthodontic research and their impact on clinical protocols. We welcome manuscripts that present robust scientific findings and demonstrate clear development toward clinical application in orthodontic practice. Driven by advances in translational research, orthodontics is set to accelerate innovation, refine clinical protocols, and elevate patient care standards, establishing a new benchmark for effective, evidence-based, and patient-centered treatments.
