Welcoming the New Associate Editor and New Section Editors-in-Chief for Antibiotics

Editor’s Choice articles are based on recommendations by the scientific editors of MDPI journals from around the world. Editors select a small number of articles recently published in the journal that they believe will be particularly interesting to readers, or important in the respective research area. The aim is to provide a snapshot of some of the most exciting work published in the various research areas of the journal.

We are pleased to announce that Dr. Krisztina M. Papp-Wallace from the Louis Stokes Cleveland VA Medical Center has been appointed Associate Editor for the journal Antibiotics (ISSN 2079-6382).
We are also pleased to announce the appointment of new Section Editors-in-Chief for recently established Sections. Dr. Serena Riela from the University of Palermo Viale delle Scienze will serve as the section Editor-in-Chief for “Antimicrobial Materials and Surfaces”; Prof. Dr. Max Maurin from the Centre Hospitalier Universitaire Grenoble Alpes will serve in this role for “Antibiotics in Animal Health”; Dr. Wolf-Rainer Abraham from the Helmholtz Centre for Infection Research will fill this position for “Antibiofilm Strategies”; and Dr. Mehran Monchi from the Centre Hospitalier de Melun will serve in this role for “Antibiotic Therapy in Infectious Diseases”.
We are confident that with the guidance of our new Associate Editor and Section Editors-in-Chief, we will continue to improve the reputation and quality of Antibiotics.
