1st International Symposium on Animal Welfare and One Health (1st IS AW & OH 2022)
Invitation:
The organizing committee is pleased to invite you to the “1st International Symposium on Animal Welfare and One Health (1st IS AW & OH 2022)” to be held on 21–22 May 2022 at the Shaheed Benazir Bhutto University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (SBBUVAS), Sakrand, Sindh-Pakistan. The symposium program includes keynote lectures and plenary sessions of eminent National and International experts, researchers, and academicians. In addition, the program also includes a workshop, invited talks, oral and poster presentations of selected speakers covering all aspects of animal welfare and One Health.
Vision:
In consultation with National and International stockholders, this symposium will be focusing on the development of International standards on animal welfare, production, and One Health, developing capacity of animal and public health services and the animal production to meet the future needs. We need a better understanding of the various gaps in knowledge, technologies, and regulations that can affect the design of game-changing solutions, and their translation into concrete actions with a beneficial impact on all facets of animal welfare and One Health. Awareness will be raised around the issues and communicated with the government and other stakeholders for implementation.
This symposium will be organized as a hybrid (physical + online) event, which allow you to share your presentations worldwide, making your work available for an international audience to read and comment, and sharing ideas on the discussed topics.
During the symposium, several internationally renowned speakers will share their state-of-the-art research, through a series keynote and plenary sessions, and invited talks, which will also include a Q&A session to allow audience participation.
All submitted abstracts will be reviewed by the Scientific Committee of Symposium to ensure that the topic of the submission is consistent with the scope of the symposium theme and sub-themes. Upon acceptance, authors will be invited to submit a full paper along with an oral slide or poster presentation of their work, and a small number of abstracts will be selected for short talks by the organizing committee. All accepted abstracts will be published as online symposium Proceedings.
