Editor of Distinction Award
The Editorial Office owes much of the success and esteemed reputation of Animals to the dedication of the Editorial Board Members (EBMs), whose hard work and commitment are deeply appreciated. The Animals Editor of Distinction Award is given annually to acknowledge Editorial Board Members who have made exceptional contributions to maintaining the journal’s high international standards. This award will honor three Editorial Board Members, and we will be announcing the winners by the end of April next year (2027).
Prizes:
– CHF 1000.
– A certificate.

– All Editorial Board Members, excluding EiC and Section EiCs.
– Contributions in 2026 that qualify EBMs for the award.
