Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

This Special Issue is dedicated to advancing research and innovation at the intersection of artificial intelligence, education, healthcare, assistive technologies, and mobile and service robotics. This Special Issue aims to gather pioneering contributions that explore how intelligent systems can enhance quality of life, support diverse populations, and address emerging societal needs. With a focus on interdisciplinary approaches, this Special Issue encourages submissions that bridge technical development and real-world applications.

The scope of this Special Issue encompasses theoretical advancements and experimental studies related to intelligent technologies. Emphasis is placed on solutions that promote inclusivity, accessibility, and improved outcomes in real-world problems. Contributions highlighting novel frameworks, innovative methodologies, and the integration of AI-driven technologies into service domains are especially welcome.

The purpose is to provide a platform for sharing recent breakthroughs and fostering dialogue among researchers. By curating a diverse selection of articles, this Special Issue will map current trends and identify future challenges in the field. The collected works are intended to supplement and extend the existing literature by presenting state-of-the-art developments, practical case studies, and multidisciplinary perspectives that highlight both opportunities and limitations of current technologies. This enrichment of the scholarly landscape will not only inform future research directions but also support the translation of scientific advances into practical solutions that benefit society.

This Special Issue will serve as a comprehensive resource for those interested in the transformative potential of AI. It will foster collaboration across disciplines, encourage innovative thinking, and contribute to the ongoing evolution of intelligent technologies for societal good.

Manuscript Submission Information

Manuscripts should be submitted online at www.mdpi.com by registering and logging in to this website. Once you are registered, click here to go to the submission form. Manuscripts can be submitted until the deadline. All submissions that pass pre-check are peer-reviewed. Accepted papers will be published continuously in the journal (as soon as accepted) and will be listed together on the special issue website. Research articles, review articles as well as short communications are invited. For planned papers, a title and short abstract (about 250 words) can be sent to the Editorial Office for assessment.

Submitted manuscripts should not have been published previously, nor be under consideration for publication elsewhere (except conference proceedings papers). All manuscripts are thoroughly refereed through a single-blind peer-review process. A guide for authors and other relevant information for submission of manuscripts is available on the Instructions for Authors page. AI is an international peer-reviewed open access monthly journal published by MDPI.

Please visit the Instructions for Authors page before submitting a manuscript. The Article Processing Charge (APC) for publication in this open access journal is 1800 CHF (Swiss Francs). Submitted papers should be well formatted and use good English. Authors may use MDPI's English editing service prior to publication or during author revisions.
