Dear Colleagues,
Organizations worldwide face tremendous difficulties in finding valid and renewed ways of being productive and economically viable when faced with an economic scenario of high inflation levels and the prospect of an economic recession. In this sense, managers are currently highly pressured to deliver efficient procedures regarding the different areas of the organization.
The way organizations deal with their workers is a topic in which several issues remain unaddressed by existing research. One of those areas relates to the role that internal communication may play regarding the way workers are managed in accordance with the organization's strategy and aims, especially if combined with human resource management policies. In effect, internal communication deserves additional relevance in regard to information management within organizations. It is important to address its role in stimulating several relevant organizational key issues, such as a worker's performance, a worker's bond with the organization or the worker's involvement with the organization (amongst others). However, existing knowledge regarding the impact of internal communication in employee–organization and employee–work relations seems to be far from a mature level of understanding.
The Special Issue we are proposing here is intended to create discussion on how internal communication can present renewed solutions for the current challenges shaping organizations in today's economic scenario. Thus, we are seeking submissions that focus on the impacts of internal communication with regard to employee–organization and employee–work relations, bringing clarity to our existing knowledge.

For planned papers, a title and short abstract (about 100 words) can be sent to the Editorial Office for announcement on this website.
Submitted manuscripts should not have been published previously, nor be under consideration for publication elsewhere (except conference proceedings papers). All manuscripts are thoroughly refereed through a double-blind peer-review process. Administrative Sciences is an international peer-reviewed open access monthly journal published by MDPI.
