Photonics | 10th Anniversary

This year marks the 10th anniversary of the journal Photonics (ISSN: 2304-6732), an international, scientific, peer-reviewed, open access journal on the science and technology of optics and photonics published monthly online by MDPI. With a new Impact Factor of 2.1, Q2 rank in the category “Optics”, and an increased CiteScore of 2.6, the journal is covered in Scopus, SCIE (Web of Science), Inspec, CAPlus/SciFinder, and other databases.

Since the establishment of Photonics in 2014, the journal has published over 4000 papers and received more than 15,000 citations, with more than 400 papers being cited at least 10 times. During the past 10 years, Photonics has significantly contributed not only to scientific advancements in the multidisciplinary field of high-impact fundamental research but also to applications for optics and photonics.
