You generously make time in your busy schedules to provide thoughtful, thorough, fair, and rapid reviews of the diverse array of manuscripts submitted to the journal. Your expertise, commitment, and diligence are foundational for the increasingly recognized role of Zoonotic Diseases as a platform for the dissemination of new knowledge about these pathogens, the diseases they cause, and the wide range of interrelated topics. 

As we enter the next phase of our development, we hope to increase both our journal’s submissions and the membership of its Editorial Board from individuals and institutions in the Global South. Your ideas regarding the advancement and improvement of the journal are always welcome. Our success is a collective and ongoing effort. 

Zoonotic Diseases will continue to adapt in scope to meet the needs of our contributors and readers as the disciplines and forces impacting zoonoses evolve. The number of submissions will continue to rise. Our collective goal is to publish high-quality submissions. Reviewing the submissions of our colleagues is vital for achieving that goal as well as advancing knowledge and progress in our fields of professional interest.
