
2023 Journal of Clinical Medicine Editorial Board Meeting of Section “Endocrinology & Metabolism” Held on 5 and 18 September 2023
It is our great pleasure to share the news that the 2023 Journal of Clinical Medicine (JCM) Editorial Board Meeting of Section “Endocrinology & Metabolism” was held on 5 and 18 September 2023, conducted by the Section Editor-in-Chief, Prof. Dr. Didac Mauricio.
The meeting started with a presentation about the journal and Section “Endocrinology & Metabolism” development with the following information presented:
- Journal history, publication statistics, distribution of scholars (2018–2023), open access benefits, journal awards, conference sponsorship, promotion on social media;
- Section aims and scope, Editorial Board Member distribution and decision-making statistics, Section statistics, highly cited papers.
The meeting mainly discussed keyword expansion and revision of the Section website, as well as other topics such as Academic Editor decisions, Section title, Section competitiveness, manuscript processing flow, Special Issue series, and feature paper invitations. Based on the discussion, some keywords may be added to the Section website, such as therapy of obesity, diabetes, metabolic bone diseases/disorders, prevention of endocrine diseases, pediatric endocrinology, etc. We will keep an eye out for more proposals and maintain regular communication with the Editorial Board Members to further the Section's growth.
This Section Editorial Board online meeting aims to increase support for the Section's and the journal's next development. We would like to thank every Editorial Board Member and the academics for their support again. We look forward to receiving more support and suggestions and making common progress.
