On 30 May 2023, MDPI and the journal Buildings (ISSN: 2075-5309) organized a webinar on buildings, titled Infrared Thermography for Building Pathology Inspection. The webinar focused on several aspects of infrared thermography characterization and result analysis, and its applications for building pathology inspection.
The Chair of the webinar, Dr. Eva Barreira, made a brief introduction about the topic of the webinar. Dr. Blanca Tejedor introduced the application of infrared thermography for U-value characterization. Dr. Iván Garrido presented his research regarding automation in the interpretation of results from infrared thermography. Dr. Ricardo Almeida showed us the application of infrared thermography for the identification of leakage points. After each of the presentations, Dr. Eva Barreira held a discussion (Q&A session). The chair and speakers answered questions raised by scholars one by one. The webinar then came to a successful conclusion.
Please note that this webinar is associated with a Special Issue in the Buildings journal: "Advanced Technologies for Building Pathology Inspection". The deadline is 20 May 2024.
