International Journal of Molecular Sciences | Best Poster Award and Best Oral Presentation Award from the International Conference Ion Transport in Organic and Inorganic Membranes—Winners Announced
We are pleased to announce the winners of the Best Poster Award and Best Oral Presentation Award, sponsored by the International Journal of Molecular Sciences, from the international conference Ion Transport in Organic and Inorganic Membranes, that was held in Sochi, Russia, from 20 to 25 September, 2021.
The editorial team of the International Journal of Molecular Sciences would like to congratulate the winner of the Best Poster Award at the international conference Ion Transport in Organic and Inorganic Membranes, Molodtsova Tatyana Alexandrovna (Platov South-Russian State Polytechnic University (NPI), Novocherkassk, Russia), for her work “Electrochemical synthesis of γ-Fe2O3/Fe3O4 nanocomposite for sensitive detection of hydrogen peroxide”.
Molodtsova Tatyana Alexandrovna is a second-year postgraduate student at Platov South-Russian State Polytechnic University (NPI). She graduated with honors from the bachelor's program in nanomaterials (MISIS, Moscow) and the master's program in chemical technologies at the Faculty of Technology (NPI, Novocherkassk). Tatyana currently works in the scientific group of Professor Nina Smirnova in the field of hydrogen technologies. Her work focuses on the electrochemical synthesis of new materials for photo-, electro- and photoelectrocatalysis, as well as for photoelectrochemical water-splitting reactions.
The editorial team of the International Journal of Molecular Sciences would also like to congratulate the winner of the Best Oral Presentation Award at the international conference Ion Transport in Organic and Inorganic Membranes, Gorobchenko Andrey Dmitrievich (Kuban State University, Krasnodar, Russia), for his work “Non-stationary model of ampholyte transport in membrane system during electrodialysis”.
Gorobchenko Andrey Dmitrievich is a second-year postgraduate student at Kuban State University. He graduated with honors from the bachelor's and master's programs in technosphere safety at the Faculty of Chemistry. Andrey currently works in the scientific group of Professor Victor Nikonenko in the field of the physical and chemical aspects of membrane processes. His work focuses on the theoretical study of mass transfer processes in electromembrane systems. With the help of modern software packages, he creates mathematical models that not only provide a fundamental understanding of unexplored or unknown phenomena in membrane systems, but also improve real industrial devices.
