In 2025, driven by its commitment to high-quality publishing and international academic exchange, Materials (ISSN: 1996-1944) has continued to thrive as a leading international open access journal. With the strong support of its Editorial Board Members, the journal has organized multiple editorial board meetings and events by leveraging a series of academic conferences and the geographical advantages of having an International Editorial Office. Our aim was to enhance collaboration within the materials science community, spotlight emerging research trends, and further strengthen the journal’s academic influence.
