Meeting with Prof. Martinez-Frias, the Editor-in-Chief of Geosciences at MDPI, Barcelona, Spain

The Editor-in-Chief of Geosciences, Prof. Dr. Jesus Martinez-Frias, came to visit the MDPI Barcelona office to meet the President of MDPI, Dr. Shu-Kun Lin; the CEO, Dr. Franck Vazquez; the Publishing Director, Delia Mihaila; the Managing Editor, Ms. Xiaozhen Han; and the Section Managing Editor, Dr. Jaime Llorca, 19–20 December 2017.
They discussed journal development strategies brainstorming for innovative ideas. Prof. Dr. Martinez-Frias spoke very highly of the in-house editorial team and has great confidence in the future development of Geosciences. This meeting was not only very fruitful, but also most pleasant!
