Comments and Suggestions for Authors

Advancements in blockchain technology and network technology bring in a new era in electronic voting systems. These systems are characterized by enhanced security, efficiency, and accessibility. In this paper, the authors compose a comparative analysis of blockchain-based electronic voting (e-voting) systems using blockchain technology, cryptographic techniques, counting methods, and security requirements.

Strengths:
- Conduct a comparative survey of blockchain-based electronic voting systems.
- Introduce a novel blockchain-based e-voting system for improved accuracy and representation in vote tallying.

Weakness:
- In the introduction, the novelty of this paper should be clearly presented.
- How to enhance privacy protection for blockchain data, such as blockshare a blockchain empowered system for privacy-preserving verifiable data sharing? Some discussion could be added in the paper.
- How to combine the proposed system with other works in terms of blockchain data queries, such as vql: efficient and verifiable cloud query services for blockchain systems, and vchain+: optimizing verifiable blockchain boolean range queries. More discussion should be added in the paper.
- Some potential research directions and future works could be discussed in this paper.

Comments and Suggestions for Authors

This study is a survey paper on blockchain technology. However, Table 1 and Table 2 in this paper are closely related to the author's previous work, "A Survey of Blockchain-Based Electronic Voting Mechanisms in Sensor Networks." This study builds upon that previous research, particularly differing in the experimental verification performed using a Raspberry Pi. Therefore, it is necessary to mention the prior research.

Additionally, the implementation section (Section 6) is a crucial part of this study. Therefore, it is essential to provide a more detailed explanation of this section, discussing the experimental analysis methods and clearly stating the conclusions derived from the experiments.
