Cover Story: The 1st International Online Conference on Risk and Financial Management (IOCRF 2025) was held virtually between 17 and 18 June 2025, gathering researchers and professionals to explore how big data, artificial intelligence (AI), and machine learning (ML) shape modern finance. The use of AI and ML in financial analysis, reporting, auditing, and the effects of digital advances were among the subjects covered. The future of money, including central bank digital currencies, cryptocurrencies, and stablecoins, received particular attention. IOCRF 2025 encouraged interdisciplinary dialogue and highlighted the importance of intelligent systems in financial research and practice.
