Round 1

Comments and Suggestions for Authors- Out of the listed materials, which one is outperforming for the design of IQ-Modulator?
- Compare the QPSK and QAM methods for design of the IQ Modulator in terms of the performance parameters.
- In waveguide what are the different challenges while dealing with IQ Modulator design.
- In terms of getting high performance, how the number of constellations in QPSK contribute for high speed data rates ?
- Explain the working of Figure 6 and Figure 3 along with the required power calculations. How different designs/structures you find appropriate for optimum performance, describe the significance of important parameters for the same to achieve overall optimum performance.

Comments and Suggestions for AuthorsThe paper is interested for the publication.
Nevertheless is request the moderate updating in order to provide the better positive for scientific society. Some of the possible improvements are listed below.
Generally the ideal cases are described. How these results will be corrected for the real structures that has some random variation in parameters, elect optic phase shifters provides voltage dependent optical losses, the strait-to-circular arc phase shifters could produce parasitic signals (due to mode profile difference) that will inter the MMI sections and thus provide signal distortion.
All these moments have to be discussed in the paper with some numerical estimation of their contribution to the final results.
It will be very desirable that some practically possible designs will be listed and discussed in the additional Appendix.
These recommendations are optional to the Review article with some original implementation but their realization will strongly improve the significance of this publication.
