Cover Story: The perception of maternity rights compliance is crucial not only for women's mental health but also for their adaptation to pregnancy and postpartum. Socio-health contexts play pivotal roles in shaping this perception, acting as either barriers or facilitators to ensuring maternity rights. This study employed an exploratory and observational design with a woman-centered approach. The findings revealed that, beyond the influence of the maternity context, perceptions of non-compliance were strongly impacted by women's ages, gestational stages, and past experiences. Improving access to information, emotional support, and resources is essential for strengthening their sense of right fulfillment. Policymakers should prioritize culturally sensitive care, allocate resources effectively, and create inclusive maternity environments. View this paper
