Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

Is in your study a relevant observation regarding bacterial infection in both cases (influenza and COVID-19) regarding season? First regarding the incidence of infections and secondly if you have observed a prevalence with a certain bacteria in a certain period of the year.

Author Response

We thank the rewiewer for this question which helps to clarify our work. The cases of influenza described here are epidemic influenza during the winter period, i.e. for France from November to April. Concerning the COVID patients included, it was the first period concerning our intensive care units from January to April, which also corresponds to winter. We can therefore not highlight any variations linked to the seasons.

Reviewer 2 Report

The article is well conceived, the subject is topical, clear exposure.

I have inserted few small editing corrections directly into the text.

The analysis of the cases is detailed and rigorous and the conclusions are pertinent.
