Comments and Suggestions for Authors

After a logically structured introduction in which he describes, the authors provide an overview of the relevant research on competency-based education and point out the difficulties in measuring student achievement. The pedagogical model of Tec21 and the structure of the Tec STEM programs are clearly described. The competencies and sub-competencies that students can acquire and the structure of academic STEM programs organized by knowledge areas are identified. The main research question focuses on analyzing the academic courses that implement the Tec21 pedagogy model and are divided into six academic periods at Tecnológico de Monterrey. In addition, the research also focuses on the competencies and sub-competencies that students acquire in the program they attend, as well as their success.the authors describe in detail the sample, the process of data collection and its interpretation. the analysis of the results is consistent with the research question.

the paper is logically organized and written in an academic style. The text is enriched with clearly described illustrations. The authors point out the limitations of this study and make recommendations for further research . The paper is relevant to your journal and I recommend it for publication.

The references are well cited and appropriate, however, a table appears in the middle of the references section. This weakens the formatting of the article, although the work is very well constructed.
