The journal Technologies (ISSN 2227-7080) was launched in 2013. Since then, the journal has provided an advanced forum of discussion for the latest research outputs in technological studies to both researchers and professionals in an array of related disciplines. The journal is committed to a transparent and robust peer review process to ensure that all the papers published are of the highest quality, advancing the understanding of technologies.
Considering the research outputs published and the developments in relevant research areas over the past few years, we believe it is beneficial to update the Aims and Scope of the journal. Please note the amendments made to the original journal Scope under the “new version” below in
Table 1.

We warmly welcome new submissions to Technologies on the research topics outlined, including original and innovative contributions, both empirical and theoretical, from researchers and scholars worldwide. | Aims | Technologies (ISSN 2227-7080) is an open access, peer-reviewed journal that provides an advanced forum for the latest in technological studies to both researchers and professionals in an array of related disciplines. It publishes research papers, reviews, and communications as well as Special Issues on targeted subjects of current and future relevance.
The aim of Technologies is to encourage scientists to publish their experimental and theoretical results in as much detail as possible. Therefore, the journal has no restriction on the maximum length of the papers. Full experimental details should be provided so that the results can be reproduced.
