Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

The paper integrates some effective methods to estimate the 6D pose of objects indoor efficiently. It is significant but the manuscript still needs some revisions:

  1. The similar works focusing on the efficient estimation of the 6D pose indoor are lacked to be introduced in the 2rd section.
  2. Is the Eq. (2) right? What does the denote T mean?
  3. What is the value for α in Eq. (5) and how to determine it in real applications.
  4. In the experiments, the compared works do not focus on the time cost, so some new and similar works need to be added for comparison.
  5. The results of Fig. 4 are described hard to understand.
  6. In Fig. 5, it is unbelievable that the time of pnp is 0.4 ms.
  7. In Tab. 3-Tab. 5, “the unit is %” is expressed unsuitably. In addition, how to evaluate the accuracy of the proposed method? What is the resolution of the errors?
  8. Many sentences are expressed redundantly. In addition, please check carefully.

Some unsatisfactory examples:

P3, lines 140-142

P5, line 193

P10, lines 361*362

P12, 398

Reviewer 2 Report

The research problem is important and well described. Also the solution offered is well reasoned. I would expect some practical aspects to be explained - camera parameters, lighting setup (what was the change in lighting if any, how did you considered measurement uncertainty). The error measuremet is described on Fig. 3 and Tables 3-6, but I would like to have also information about measurement uncertainty.

What do you mean by conventional YOLO? (line 213)? Think it is not standardised yet.

The references are relatively new, mostly from last five years (19 from 28). However, I have seen the setup of experiment in several papers. The Fig. 4 looked familiar - and  I remembered a paper "6D Pose Estimation of Objects: Recent Technologies and Challenges" https://doi.org/10.3390/app11010228 . Also, Hu, Y.; Hugonot, J.; Fua, P.; Salzmann, M. "Segmentation-Driven 6D Object Pose Estimation" is covering the 6D problem solving.  However, I did not find any references to these, despite the experimental table in your paper (Fig.4) was similar to the one used there (Figs.5 in both cases). Think it needs perhaps more discussion and maybe also additional referring.

I still think that the introduction of papers on efficiecy is  less. In addition, the English express is dissatisfactory and so please revise carefully.
