Thank you for your valuable comment. We welcome suggestions and introductions from reviewers regarding this research. Since the use of sacha inchi as anti-aging is novel, this research is intended to be the preliminary study for further investigation. Therefore, this study only evaluates the effectiveness of sacha inchi using DPPH scavenging assay.

Thank you for your valuable comments. This text innovation is the result of research on sacha inchi seed oil originating from Indonesia. Sacha inchi is a plant originating from Peru which has many benefits in the pharmaceutical sector, especially in the cosmetic sector, so this plant is starting to be widely cultivated, one of which is in Indonesia. In order to guarantee that the sacha inchi seed oil produced in Indonesia adheres to the requirements set by its country of origin, Peru, this research carried out tests on physicochemical parameters, fatty acid content, vitamins (A, D, and E), and antioxidant activity. In research articles that have been published regarding sacha inchi oil, no testing for vitamin D has been found, so this research article is the first to review this matter. Apart from that, this research also tested for microbial and heavy metal contamination, which were not found in previous research articles. Likewise, research articles on the topic of sacha inchi oil originating from Indonesia are still minimal, and no research articles have yet been published. Therefore, this study aims to fill the gap in the existing literature by investigating the vitamin D content, microbial contamination, and heavy metals in sacha inchi oil. Additionally, by focusing on the Indonesian context, this research will contribute valuable insights into the potential benefits and safety of sacha inchi oil from this region.

Furthermore, the study centers on the process of standardization and early characterization to comprehend the constituents, physicochemical attributes, safety concerns related to contaminants, and preliminary antioxidant effects. With its high omegas and vitamin content, we can measure and direct where its pharmacological and cosmetology uses are. The study primarily emphasizes the identification and safety assessment of sacha inchi seed oil, with the aim of providing valuable information for its application in cosmetic manufacture and formulation.
