Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

This is an important study examining the adverse events following the MMRV vaccination in the Puglia Italian region in 2017-2018. The data is well presented and the conclusions valid. Apart from some minor English corrections  the paper is acceptable for publication.

Reviewer 2 Report

This manuscript examines the tendency of the MMRV vaccine, as used in the Puglia regency of Italy from May 2017 to November 2018, to cause adverse reactions in young children.  The conclusion that the vaccine does not cause long-lasting AEFis and can thus be used safely is fully supported by the data. The authors are to be commended on the thoroughness and completeness of the study, which represents an important contribution to our understanding of vaccine safety.  The manuscript is recommended for acceptance after editorial attention to grammar and use of the English language.
