Comments and Suggestions for AuthorsThis study examines the impact of two leader behaviors, initial structure and consideration, on teachers' employee experience and job satisfaction in educational institutions. The research topic is highly significant as it validates the importance of leadership and its influence in the educational environment. However, the study could be further improved by addressing the following points.
Extensive research has already been conducted on leadership and overall job satisfaction among employees. In this study, the authors focus on the specific effects of initial structure and consideration in educational institutions while differentiating employee experience into sensory, intellectual, and emotional dimensions. The study claims that these insights will help identify key factors contributing to a positive work experience and high job satisfaction, thereby providing a strong foundation for developing effective leadership strategies. However, as noted in the manuscript, these aspects have already been explored in prior research.
Furthermore, the study's hypothesis testing primarily reconfirms findings already established in previous literature. The authors themselves acknowledge this in the discussion section. To enhance the study's contribution, it is necessary to clarify how it differs from prior research—whether in terms of research methodology, model, data, or unique insights beyond existing findings. If the study's distinctiveness lies in its focus on educational institutions, the authors should explicitly discuss why leadership is particularly critical in educational settings and how it differs from leadership in other organizational contexts.
