Dear Authors

It is the best paper on RLS in PD I have seen in previous years. Great job!

My minor questions:

1. Do you have data on how many of PwPD RLS + have suffered from RLS before diagnosis of PD? If so , it would be valuable to show such data

2. Widening question 1. Is it possible to show (maybe on a time axis) temporal relation of appearance of PD symptoms and RLS symptoms. That would add more information to debate on possible bi-directional or common causative mechanisms between PD and RLS 

3. Do You have any more data on therapy of PD used in RLS+ and RLS- populations? E.g. did RLS+ patients were taking higher doses of L-DOPA or of agonists? THat would also add interesting data to discussion on RLS-PD relation.

The present study explores the associations between Restless Legs syndrome (RLS) and sleep, quality of life, and other non-motor symptoms non-motor symptoms in a sample of people with Parkinson’s disease, comparing the clinical features of 131 PwPD with and 12 without RLS in a cross-sectional study

 

The introduction has been well structured and based on previous studies that describe the prevalence of Restless Legs syndrome in Parkinson's disease.

 

The reference list is appropriate and up-to-date on both topics.

 The results are appropriate and of quality, presenting demographic information, motor, and non-motor characteristics in RLS and PD, and the results analyzed in the patients.
