Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

Dear Authors,

I found the revised manuscript to be significantly improved and thus easier to follow than previously. The motivation is now well stated and the methodology is clearer. I have just a few minor comments given below.

Specific comments:

line 122 - "calculated in height" - This is not clear. Did You mean "for each height/altitude" or "with respect to height"?

line 134 - "This two effects causes" - Please change to "These two effect cause" or similar

line 201 - "Despite ACI index uncertainty depending on the number of simulations (h), it converges once h is large enough" - What "converges" here, ACI index or its uncertainty? Please reformulate this sentence.

line 274 - "they are much fewer in number concentration" - Please remove "concentration" or change the expression to "they have a lower number concentration"

line 329 "after" - Maybe "above" would be better here?
