Abstract
The synthesis of the (2S)-[3-(anthracen-9-yl)-4,5-dihydroisoxazol-5-yl]methyl 2-[(tert-butoxycarbonyl)amino]propanoate is obtained through the 1,3-dipolar cycloaddition of the stable anthracenenitrile oxide and the N-Boc protected (S)-alanine allyl ester as dipolarophile. The structure and the fluorescence properties are described upon the relative analytical and spectroscopic data. Full article

Abstract
The title compound, N'-[2-(7,8-dimethyl-2,4-dioxo-3,4-dihydrobenzo[g]pteridin- 10(2H)-yl)ethylidene]-4-nitrobenzohydrazide (1), was obtained by the reaction of formylmethylflavin and p-nitrobenzohydrazide. The product 1 inhibited the DNA binding of nuclear factor-κB, and was characterized by 1H-NMR, 13C-NMR, electrospray ionization mass spectrometry, elemental analysis, IR and UV. Full article
