Lightweight real-time detectors must balance long-range contextual modeling, cross-scale relational reasoning, and deployment efficiency. We present MambaACE-YOLO, an integration-oriented framework that separates computation into intra-scale encoding, cross-scale relational reasoning, sparse multi-stage feature distribution, and multi-scale detection decoding. Its primary contribution is the coordinated integration of prior frequency-decoupled and state-space ideas with detection-specific interfaces, target-scale leave-one-source aggregation, and physically prunable feature distribution, rather than a new frequency-transform, state-space, or hypergraph mechanism class. Building on prior frequency-decoupled hybrid visual Mamba research, its detection-oriented D-MobileMamba backbone applies bidirectional state-space scanning only to low-frequency components, while directional high-frequency correction and multi-kernel depthwise convolutions preserve boundaries and local shape. Compact Partial-Channel HyperACE (CP-HyperACE) models cross-scale higher-order relations in a semantic subspace and uses target-scale leave-one-source aggregation. Selective Additive FullPAD (SA-FullPAD) projects each cross-scale increment once and selects injection paths through static, physically prunable gates. On MS COCO 2017 val, the unpruned MambaACE-YOLO-N achieves 42.5 AP with 2.6 M parameters, and MambaACE-YOLO-S achieves 48.8 AP with 9.0 M parameters. Under a common documented RTX 5090 TensorRT FP16 setting, the unpruned Nano model records 1.19 ms network-forward latency at 42.5 AP, whereas its physically pruned counterpart retains 42.4 AP and records 1.02 ms. Accuracy and latency values are single-run or single-record point estimates without reported variance, and the 42.5-AP result uses the 600-epoch schedule without a matched 600-epoch YOLOv13-N control. We distinguish published cross-paper results from same-framework, same-device measurements and assess the individual design choices through controlled ablations and physical-pruning experiments. In this paper, we propose a two-way hybrid satellite–terrestrial relay scheme employing Fountain codes (FCs). In the proposed model, a satellite and a ground user exchange data through a group of terrestrial relay stations, in the presence of an eavesdropper. In the first phase, the satellite and the ground user simultaneously transmit their encoded packets to the relay stations. The relay stations then apply a successive interference cancelation (SIC) technique to decode the received packets. To reduce the quality of the eavesdropping links, a cooperative jammer is employed to transmit jamming signals toward the eavesdropper during the first phase. Next, one of the relay stations which can successfully decode the encoded packets from both the satellite and the ground user is selected for data forwarding, by using a partial relay selection method. Then, this selected relay performs an XOR operation on the two encoded packets, and then broadcasts the XOR-ed packet to both the satellite and the user in the second phase. We derive exact closed-form expressions of outage probability (OP), system outage probability (SOP), intercept probability (IP), and system intercept probability (SIP), and realize simulations to validate these expressions. This paper also studies the trade-off between OP (SOP) and IP (SIP), as well as the impact of various system parameters on the performance of the proposed scheme. Full article

This paper investigates a physics-informed surrogate modeling framework for multi-phase flow in porous media based on the Fourier Neural Operator. Traditional numerical simulators, though accurate, suffer from severe computational bottlenecks due to fine-grid discretizations and the iterative solution of highly nonlinear partial differential equations. By parameterizing the kernel integral directly in Fourier space, the operator provides a discretization-invariant mapping between function spaces, enabling efficient spectral convolutions. We introduce a Dual-Branch Adaptive Fourier Neural Operator with a shared Fourier encoder and two decoders: a saturation branch that uses an inverse Fourier transform followed by a multilayer perceptron and a pressure branch that uses a convolutional decoder. Temporal information is injected via Time2Vec embeddings and a causal temporal transformer, conditioning each forward pass on step index and time step to maintain consistent dynamics across horizons. Physics-informed losses couple data fidelity with residuals from mass conservation and Darcy pressure, enforcing the governing constraints in Fourier space; truncated spectral kernels promote generalization across meshes without retraining. On SPE10-style heterogeneities, the model shifts the infinity-norm error mass into the 102 to 101 band during early transients and sustains lower errors during pseudo-steady state. In zero-shot three-dimensional coarse-to-fine upscaling from 30×110×5 to 60×220×5, it attains R2=0.90, RMSE = 4.4×102, and MAE = 3.2×102, with more than 90% of voxels below five percent absolute error across five unseen layers, while the end-to-end pipeline runs about three times faster than a full-order fine-grid solve and preserves water-flood fronts and channel connectivity. Benchmarking against established baselines indicates a scalable, high-fidelity alternative for high-resolution multi-phase flow simulation in porous media. Full article

We establish a relationship between stochastic differential games (SDGs) and a unified forward–backward coupled stochastic partial differential equation (SPDE) with discontinuous Lévy Jumps. The SDGs have q players and are driven by a general-dimensional vector Lévy process. By establishing a vector-form Ito-Ventzell formula and a 4-tuple vector-field solution to the unified SPDE, we obtain a Pareto optimal Nash equilibrium policy process or a saddle point policy process to the SDG in a non-zero-sum or zero-sum sense. The unified SPDE is in both a general-dimensional vector form and forward–backward coupling manner. The partial differential operators in its drift, diffusion, and jump coefficients are in time-variable and position parameters over a domain. Since the unified SPDE is of general nonlinearity and a general high order, we extend our recent study from the existing Brownian motion (BM)-driven backward case to a general Lévy-driven forward–backward coupled case. In doing so, we construct a new topological space to support the proof of the existence and uniqueness of an adapted solution of the unified SPDE, which is in a 4-tuple strong sense. The construction of the topological space is through constructing a set of topological spaces associated with a set of exponents {γ1,γ2,} under a set of general localized conditions, which is significantly different from the construction of the single exponent case. Furthermore, due to the coupling from the forward SPDE and the involvement of the discontinuous Lévy jumps, our study is also significantly different from the BM-driven backward case. The coupling between forward and backward SPDEs essentially corresponds to the interaction between noise encoding and noise decoding in the current hot diffusion transformer model for generative AI. The signal quality in high-bandwidth free space optical (FSO) systems deteriorates due to atmospheric turbulence and pointing errors. Employing techniques such as adaptive transmission and relay selection (RS) can mitigate their effects. This paper analyzes the performance of a dual-hop decode-and-forward multi-relay FSO system with an adaptive M-ary phase shift keying scheme. This analysis is based on the recently proposed Fisher–Snedecor F channel model and considers the impact of pointing errors. We propose two partial relay selection schemes based on the source-to-relay or relay-to-destination channel state information to reduce the complexity of the optimal relay selection scheme. In this investigation, we derive closed-form expressions for the outage probability, modulation level selection probability, and spectral efficiency (SE) and compare the performance of the proposed RS schemes under balanced and unbalanced link cases. We observe an improvement in the SE with an increase in the number of modulation levels and the number of relays. Moreover, it is noted that the performance of the system can be restricted by the quality of either the source-to-relay or the relay-to-destination link, even if the quality of the other link is perfect. Finally, the outcomes obtained through the derived expressions are validated using Monte Carlo simulations. Full article

Remote sensing has now been widely used in various fields, and the research on the automatic land-cover segmentation methods of remote sensing imagery is significant to the development of remote sensing technology. Deep learning methods, which are developing rapidly in the field of semantic segmentation, have been widely applied to remote sensing imagery segmentation. In this work, a novel deep learning network—Dual Encoder with Attention Network (DEANet) is proposed. In this network, a dual-branch encoder structure, whose first branch is used to generate a rough guidance feature map as area attention to help re-encode feature maps in the next branch, is proposed to improve the encoding ability of the network, and an improved pyramid partial decoder (PPD) based on the parallel partial decoder is put forward to make fuller use of the features form the encoder along with the receptive filed block (RFB). In addition, an edge attention module using the transfer learning method is introduced to explicitly advance the segmentation performance in edge areas. Except for structure, a loss function composed with the weighted Cross Entropy (CE) loss and weighted Union subtract Intersection (UsI) loss is designed for training, where UsI loss represents a new region-based aware loss which replaces the IoU loss to adapt to multi-classification tasks. Furthermore, a detailed training strategy for the network is introduced as well. Extensive experiments on three public datasets verify the effectiveness of each proposed module in our framework and demonstrate that our method achieves more excellent performance over some state-of-the-art methods. Unlike the fixed power grid cooperative networks, which are mainly based on the reception reliability parameter while choosing the best relay, the wireless-powered cooperative communication network (WPCCN) and in addition to the reception reliability the transmission requirement consideration is important for relay selection schemes. Hence, enabling efficient transmission techniques that address high attenuation of radio frequency (RF) signals according to the distance without increasing the total transmission power is an open issue worth studying. In this relation, a multiantennas power beacon (PB) that assists wireless-powered cooperative communication network (PB-WPCCN) is studied in this paper. The communication between source and destination is achieved with the aid of multiple relays, where both the source and the multiple relays need to harvest energy from the PB in the first place to enable their transmission functionalities. A novel relay selection scheme is proposed, named as two-round relay selection (2-RRS), where a group of relays that successfully decode the source information is selected in the first round selection. In the second round, the optimal relay is selected to forward the recorded information to the destination. The proposed 2-RRS scheme is compared with two existing relay selection schemes, i.e., partial relay selection (PRS) and opportunistic relay selection (ORS). The analytical closed-form expressions of outage probability and average system throughput are derived and validated by numerical simulation. The comparison results between different relay selection schemes show: (I) The superiority of the proposed 2-RRS scheme as it achieves around 17% better throughput compared to the conventional ORS scheme and 40% better than the PRS scheme, particularly when PB transmit power is 10 dB; (II) The proposed 2-RRS scheme guarantees the lowest outage probability, especially when the PB is equipped with multiantennas and performs beamforming technique; (III) The optimal localisation of the PB between the source and N relays depends on the adopted relay selection scheme; (IV) The exhaustive search of the maximum system throughput value shows that the proposed 2-RRS scheme required shorter energy harvesting time compared to other schemes. The increase in energy harvesting time and number of relays do not necessarily reflect positively on the system throughput performance; hence tradeoffs should be taken into consideration. In this paper, we analyze the performance of a dual-hop cooperative decode-and-forward (DF) relaying system with beamforming under different adaptive transmission techniques over κ μ shadowed fading channels. We consider multiple antennas at the source and destination, and communication takes place via a single antenna relay. The published work in the literature emphasized the performance analysis of dual-hop DF relaying systems, in conjunction with different adaptive transmission techniques for classical fading channels. However, in a real scenario, shadowing of the line-of-sight (LoS) signal is caused by complete or partially blockage of the LoS by environmental factors such as trees, buildings, mountains, etc., therefore, transmission links may suffer from fading as well as shadowing, either concurrently or separately. Hence, the κ μ shadowed fading model was introduced to emulate such general channel conditions. The κ μ shadowed fading model is a general fading model that can perfectly model the fading and shadowing effects of the wireless channel in a LoS propagation environment, and it includes some classical fading models as special cases, such as κ μ , Rician, Rician-shadowed, Nakagami- m ^ , One-sided Gaussian, and Rayleigh fading. In this work, we derive the outage probability and average capacity expressions in an analytical form for different adaptive transmission techniques: (1) optimal power and rate adaptation (OPRA); (2) optimal rate adaptation and constant transmit power (ORA); (3) channel inversion with a fixed rate (CIFR); and (4) truncated channel inversion with a fixed rate (TIFR). We evaluate the system performance for different arrangements of antennas and for different fading and shadowing parameters. The obtained analytical expressions are verified through extensive Monte Carlo simulations. Full article

We study the arbitrarily varying relay channel, which models communication with relaying in the presence of an active adversary. We establish the cutset bound and partial decode-forward bound on the random code capacity. We further determine the random code capacity for special cases. Then, we consider conditions under which the deterministic code capacity is determined as well. In addition, we consider the arbitrarily varying Gaussian relay channel with sender frequency division under input and state constraints. We determine the random code capacity, and establish lower and upper bounds on the deterministic code capacity. Furthermore, we show that as opposed to previous relay models, the primitive relay channel has a different behavior compared to the non-primitive relay channel in the arbitrarily varying scenario. In this paper, we consider partial path selection (PPS) for a multi-hop decode-and-forward cooperative system with limited channel state information (CSI) feedback, where the PPS utilizes local CSI only for a subset of hops on each of all independent paths between a source and a destination to reduce the energy consumption for CSI feedback. To enhance the end-to-end performance of the PPS, we propose a novel PPS method with local CSI chosen by the correlation between the end-to-end signal-to-noise ratios (SNRs) based on global and local CSI under Nakagami-m fading channels. For each path, we pick a subset of hops to report CSI with the highest correlation for a given CSI feedback overhead requirement, which can achieve the similar end-to-end outage probability to the best path selection with global CSI. We provide an exact and closed-form expression for the SNR correlation coefficient and present an impact of the SNR correlation on the end-to-end outage probability. Full article

To solve the problem of energy constraints and spectrum scarcity for cognitive radio wireless sensor networks (CR-WSNs), an underlay decode-and-forward relaying scheme is considered, where the energy constrained secondary source and relay nodes are capable of harvesting energy from a multi-antenna power beacon (PB) and using that harvested energy to forward the source information to the destination. Based on the time switching receiver architecture, three relaying protocols, namely, hybrid partial relay selection (H-PRS), conventional opportunistic relay selection (C-ORS), and best opportunistic relay selection (B-ORS) protocols are considered to enhance the end-to-end performance under the joint impact of maximal interference constraint and transceiver hardware impairments. For performance evaluation and comparison, we derive the exact and asymptotic closed-form expressions of outage probability (OP) and throughput (TP) to provide significant insights into the impact of our proposed protocols on the system performance over Rayleigh fading channel. In this paper, we study relay selection in decode-and-forward wireless energy harvesting cooperative networks. In contrast to conventional cooperative networks, the relays harvest energy from the source’s radio-frequency radiation and then use that energy to forward the source information. Considering power splitting receiver architecture used at relays to harvest energy, we are concerned with the performance of two popular relay selection schemes, namely, partial relay selection (PRS) scheme and optimal relay selection (ORS) scheme. In particular, we analyze the system performance in terms of outage probability (OP) over independent and non-identical (i.n.i.d.) Rayleigh fading channels. We derive the closed-form approximations for the system outage probabilities of both schemes and validate the analysis by the Monte-Carlo simulation. The numerical results provide comprehensive performance comparison between the PRS and ORS schemes and reveal the effect of wireless energy harvesting on the outage performances of both schemes. Additionally, we also show the advantages and drawbacks of the wireless energy harvesting cooperative networks and compare to the conventional cooperative networks. Full article

This paper considers the four-node relay-eavesdropper channel, where a relay node helps the source to send secret messages to the destination in the presence of a passive eavesdropper. For the discrete memoryless case, we propose a hybrid cooperative coding scheme, which is based on the combination of the partial decode-forward scheme, the noise-forward scheme and the random binning scheme. The key feature of the proposed hybrid cooperative scheme is that the relay integrates the explicit cooperation strategy and the implicit cooperation strategy by forwarding source messages and additional interference at the same time. The derived achievable secrecy rate shows that some existing works can be viewed as special cases of the proposed scheme. Then, the achievable secrecy rate is extended to the Gaussian channel based on Gaussian codebooks, and the optimal power policy is also identified in the high power region. Both the analysis and numerical results are provided to demonstrate that the proposed hybrid cooperative coding scheme outperforms the comparable ones, especially in the high power region. Capacity bounds for a three-node binary symmetric relay channel with orthogonal components at the destination are studied. The cut-set upper bound and the rates achievable using decode-and-forward (DF), partial DF and compress-and-forward (CF) relaying are first evaluated. Then relaying strategies with finite memory-length are considered. An efficient algorithm for optimizing the relay functions is presented. The Boolean Fourier transform is then employed to unveil the structure of the optimized mappings. Interestingly, the optimized relay functions exhibit a simple structure. Numerical results illustrate that the rates achieved using the optimized low-dimensional functions are either comparable to those achieved by CF or superior to those achieved by DF relaying. In particular, the optimized low-dimensional relaying scheme can improve on DF relaying when the quality of the source-relay link is worse than or comparable to that of other links. Full article
