The 10th ICSPS will be waiting for you at ForumPiscine 2023 From 15 to 17 February 2023, the 10th International Conference of Swimming Pools & Spas(ICSPS) will be back at BolognaFiere (Italy) as part of ForumPiscine, Italy’s international fair for the swimming pool and spa industry.
Bologna, November 2022 – The 14th ForumPiscine – International Pool & Spa Expo and Congress, due to take place at BolognaFiere (Italy) from 15 to 17 February 2023, is getting ready to play host to the tenth International Conference of Swimming Pools & Spas, the prestigious international conference on the safety and quality of bathing and thermal waters for swimming pools and spas. “Sustainability of Swimming Pools and Spas in a One Health Perspective” will be the theme of the event, under the scientific direction of the Italian National Institute of Health (ISS) and Rome’s “Foro Italico” University. The coordinators of the International Scientific Committee are: Vincenzo Romano Spica, Full Professor of the Foro Italico University of Rome and Emanuele Ferretti, Researcher at the Water Quality and Health Unit of Istituto Superiore di Sanità.
An audience of authoritative names from the international academic world – from Europe, USA, Canada, Australia and the Middle East – and from some of the most prestigious Health Institutes will meet for the 10th ICSPS at ForumPiscine to discuss public health in the attempt to develop a safe, sustainable approach to spread a health-promoting culture through recreational waters, in the light of the many scientific and technological advancements of the last few years. The rich agenda of the conference will range from sustainable innovation to the design and management of swimming pools, microbiological, chemical and physical hazards, indoor air quality and microclimates. There will also be plenty of speeches that will address guidelines and regulations, physical exercise in water, different health-promoting initiatives and reflections on swimming pools and spas as wellbeing facilities.
