Special Issue Information

Dear colleagues,

This Special Issue will focus on the publication of the most contemporary research regarding the use of a. prebiotics; b. probiotics; c. spices; and d. byproducts (horticultural) derived from the harvesting/processing of fruits, nuts, and vegetables, and their effects on the production and biochemical measurements (tissue and other analyses) of laying hens. Both reviews and research articles that emphasize innovative research outcomes will be considered for publication. For probiotics in particular, specific strains and CFU per kg of diet (feed) should be provided.

Comprehensive reviews that focus on research outcomes within the last 20 years will summarize pertinent research findings and suggest potential aspects of new research.  Up-to-date studies may present an opportunity for new pathways of innovative research.
