10th Symposium on Antimicrobial Resistance in Animals and the Environment (ARAE)
The 10th Symposium on Antimicrobial Resistance in Animals and the Environment will be held in Berlin, Germany, from 30 June to 02 July 2025. The aim of the ARAE conference, which has been a great success since 2007 with many scientists from all over the world, is to present a global vision of the impact of antibiotic use and resistance on the animal world, the environment, and consecutive repercussion on human health.

The main topics of the conference include the following:
-Monitoring and molecular epidemiology of antimicrobial resistance;
-Mechanisms and dissemination of antimicrobial resistance in animal and zoonotic pathogens;
-Understanding the connection of antimicrobial resistance between animals, humans, and/or the environment;
-Roles of the environment in resistance evolution and transmission;
-Novel approaches to combat antimicrobial resistance;
-Novel methods and tools dedicated to antimicrobial resistance (detection, diagnostics, and surveillance).
