Remote Sensing | Important Update to Author Guidelines: New “Highlights” Section Required

Remote Sensing (ISSN: 2072-4292) is committed to enhancing the visibility, accessibility, and impact of the research we publish. To help readers quickly identify and understand the core contributions of your work, we are introducing a new requirement for all article submissions.

Effective immediately, all new manuscripts must include a “Highlights” section.

What are Highlights?

This is an obligatory section in Remote Sensing, whose goal is to increase the discoverability and readability of the article via search engines and other scholars. Highlights should not be a copy of the abstract, but a simple text allowing the reader to quickly and simplified find out what the article is about and what can be cited from it. Each of these parts should be devoted up to 2 bullet points.

What are the main findings?

  1. First bullet.
  2. Second bullet.

What is the implication of the main finding?

  1. First bullet.
  2. Second bullet.
