Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

The rapid evolution of artificial intelligence (AI) is transforming both industrial practices and educational systems, offering unprecedented opportunities to advance sustainability. AI-driven innovations in business operations, supply chain management, and consumer behavior analysis are enabling more efficient resource use and reduced environmental footprints. Simultaneously, AI is transforming education by personalizing learning experiences and fostering critical thinking about sustainability. This convergence presents a critical opportunity to explore how AI can bridge the gap between theoretical sustainability goals and practical market applications.

Understanding the role of AI in sustainable business and education is essential for addressing complex global challenges. Research in this area can uncover actionable insights for policymakers, educators, and business leaders to integrate AI responsibly, ensuring equitable benefits and mitigating risks.

This Special Issue invites interdisciplinary contributions that examine how AI reshapes in sustainable business and education. We welcome empirical and theoretical research, perspective papers, and review articles. Research areas may include (but are not limited to) the following:

  • AI-driven sustainable business models and innovation pathways;
  • Digital and intelligent transformation of enterprises to enhance sustainability performance;
  • AI-driven tools for measuring, forecasting, and managing corporate sustainability performance;
  • Digital transformation frameworks integrating AI to support sustainable operations and green competitiveness;
  • Human–AI collaboration models that enhance sustainability-oriented decision-making and innovation capacity;
  • AI-enhanced teaching, learning, and assessment approaches for sustainability education;
  • AI-enhanced pedagogical models for sustainability education;
  • AI-driven sustainable curriculum design;
  • AI-enabled experiential and immersive learning;
  • Case studies on AI integration in sustainable learning platforms.
