Special Issue Information
Dear Colleagues,
We are pleased to invite you to contribute to the Special Issue "Blockchain Applications in Sustainable Economic Management and Business Research". Blockchain technology has emerged as a powerful tool for transforming economic and business practices, particularly when aligned with the goals of sustainable development. The potential of blockchain for enabling transparency, traceability, and decentralization creates new opportunities for advancing sustainable economic management.
This Special Issue aims to gather high-quality original research and review articles that explore how blockchain can support the design and implementation of innovative, sustainable, and ethical solutions in economics, business, and environmental governance. Topics will focus on both theoretical advancements and practical applications that contribute to long-term sustainability goals.
In this Special Issue, original research articles and reviews are welcome. Research areas may include (but are not limited to) the following:
- Blockchain for sustainable supply chains and traceability;
- Blockchain in environmental governance and emissions tracking;
- Decentralized finance (DeFi) and ESG integration;
- Token-based incentive systems for behavioral change;
- Smart contracts in public service delivery and energy markets;
- Interoperability between blockchain systems and climate data platforms;
- Governance models for blockchain applications in sustainability;
- Blockchain applications in disaster insurance and risk pooling;
- Blockchain for climate finance, including carbon credit systems and other decentralized climate funding mechanisms.
We look forward to receiving your contributions.
